AISH Initiative is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to providing essential services to resource-poor and crisis-ridden communities in Nigeria. Our services encompass aged care, disability support, youth work, advocacy against gender-based violence, and the provision of free basic education.

Established in 2005 and officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in April 2021, AISH Initiative has grown from a grassroots organisation into a reputable institution with a significant impact on the communities we serve.

Our head office is located in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, with a branch office in Imo State. We also maintain an international presence with an office in Douala, Cameroon, reflecting our commitment to regional collaboration and impact.

At AISH Initiative, we believe in the power of structure and organization. Our internal structure comprises a Board of Trustees, a Board of Advisors, a dedicated Management Team, and a vibrant body of Staff, Volunteers, and Consultants organized under various departments. This structure ensures efficient service delivery and fosters a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.

We are proud of our established linkages and excellent working relations with different tiers of government, including the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, and the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD). We also work closely with State Ministries of Women Affairs and Social Development and other development partners.

Our mission is to uplift and empower the most vulnerable members of our society, and our vision is a world where everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
